Director Guide

This guide is for directors and board members who use Our Cat Herder. It walks you through how to use the portal at every stage of the meeting cycle.

The guide is structured around four phases:

• Before the Meeting — Prepare yourself by reviewing board papers and confirming your attendance
• During the Meeting — Follow the agenda, reference documents, and take notes
• After the Meeting — Review minutes, track your actions, and follow up
• Between Meetings — Stay across actions, discussions, and governance matters

Getting Access

Your portal Admin manages member access. If you cannot see a meeting or document described in this guide, contact your Admin to check your membership and permissions. See Activation Troubleshooting if you are having trouble logging in for the first time.

What Can a Director Do?

As a director or board member in Our Cat Herder, you can:

• View meeting agendas, board papers, and attachments
• Download or view the meeting pack
• RSVP to meetings
• Take personal notes against meeting pack documents
• View and manage actions assigned to you
• Participate in discussions with other board members
• Access documents, decisions, and registers where invited
• Update your profile and contact details
