Discovering Our Cat Herder Admin: Customising Colours and Images

What's Covered

This video walks through customising your portal's look and feel via Settings > Theme, including:

• Dashboard Image & PDF Header — the most basic customisations, available by default
• Additional Customisation — enable the toggle to access further options:
  • Updating the left menu logo
  • Changing the primary colour and button colour (limited palette for WCAG accessibility compliance)
  • Customising PDF colours (table header, table row, links, text) which apply to all portal-generated PDFs (agendas, minutes, decisions, etc.)
• Login page preview — see how your branding appears on your portal's login screen
• Portal URL matters — customisation only displays when users access via your portal-specific URL (e.g. https://orgname.ourcatherder.com). If the URL doesn't include your org name, the standard OCH branding is shown. Use the org switcher in the top left to restore it.

TIP

We recommend your users bookmark the portal-specific URL so they always see your custom branding on the login page.
