How to Take Attendance in a Meeting
You do not need to type every name by hand. In Minute Taker, the Attendance button pulls in the people invited to the meeting so you can record who was present. You can also type @ and start typing a name to pick someone from a quick list.
Who can take attendance
You need access to Minute Taker for the meeting. That means you are a portal admin, the meeting creator, the chairperson, or an attendee set as Minute Taker.
Steps
- Open the meeting from the Meetings page.
- Click Manage, then Take Minutes.
- Use the Attendance button in Minute Taker to insert attendance from the current meeting attendees.
- Review the list and adjust who was present or who sent apologies as needed.
- To add someone who is not already on the list, type
@in the minutes and start typing their name, then select them from the quick list.
Invited attendees first
Add people to the meeting on the Attendees tab before you take minutes. Attendance can then pull from that list, so you avoid retyping names that are already in Our Cat Herder.
