Updates to the Our Cat Herder system in 2020.
September 2020¶
New Features
- None in this update.
Updates
- Adjust adding/inviting people to meeting functionality to have three options "attendee", "minute taker" and "viewer".
- Admin or creator can edit decision if no one has voted yet.
Bug Fixes
- Actions - if a user has been removed from portal allow Admin to be able to remove the user from actions.
- Member term - is global, needs to be term per portal.
- Adjust "Your Account has been accessed from a new IP address" email so it does not send if it is the users very first login.
August 2020¶
New Features
- Users can add comments/notes to actions via the Actions page in main menu.
Updates
- Added "view only" mode to Decisions Proposals. So users can view, but not vote if required.
- Added "Show Password" to allow users to view password as they type.
- Added a revert "Draft" status button for meeting minutes.

- None in this update.
July 2020¶
New Features
Actions Page
Previously actions had to be connected to a meeting and created using a meeting.
Using the "Actions" page user's can now create actions just by clicking the 'Create an Action' button.
Users with the Admin role can manage other users actions. User's with other actions can only manage actions assigned to themselves.
This button can be used to create actions that can be:
a. Stand alone (not connected to a meeting specifically)
b. Attached to main agenda items of any of the last ten meetings
Updates
- If a meeting type name is updated the corresponding folder in Meetings Archive in Documents is now updated.
- When a you search the actions page, on refresh it reloads the current search so you don't need to re-type your search.
- Meeting creator can choose if Comments for a meeting should still send to a user if they have RSVP'd an apology.
Bug Fixes
- If an agenda item had a time assigned to it (duration) and then a sub item was edited and saved then the duration on the agenda item was over-written.
Security Fixes
- Action log was accessible to any user listed under "members" if they had the direct link.
